Introducing, Baby... Erm...

Well, she actually doesn't have a name yet!
This little black fuzzball was found today, on a HUGE main road, and when my friends Sheena and Jon stopped to rescue her the little mite shot up into Sheena's Citroen's undercarriage!! It took 30 odd minutes and a jack to get a very shaken and wet kitten out from under the car, and when they got to our house we made her comfy in one of the bathrooms with some soft meat and water...
The intention was not at all that we keep her (is it ever), but when I snuggled her into my giant straw sunhat on my lap, that was it. She's staying.
I think the next time we invite Sheena and Jon for lunch we'll ask them not to bring any furbabies, since our precious Turk and Diva were also adopted from Sheena's cat Seasea!!

So what do we call her?
We've had suggestions for Onyx, Nyx, Freeway, Lara Croft, Kaala ("black" in Hindi), Velvet, Shadow and Ginny (from Engine). If she's a boy- which has happened to us before- then the options so far are Ninja, Engine and Onyx...

cute kitten black as a Raven. All Life comes from God and all need to know that God loves you and His son Jesus the Christ died for our sins so we would not have to pay the price. Check out the book of John in the Bible to find out how to be changed from the inside out.

Awwww! So glad she's doing better now :)

As for the name? I vote Engine!

Engine, Engine, Engine! OR Ginny!

And yes, ahem, I totally didn't bring the kitty with us for you to adopt her, I honestly had every intention of taking her to wet nose, or cat friends or some place equally lovable to felines... You're too soft!!!

6 kitties and 2 dogs. 8 Animals. Lol! Only you guys...

Wowser. It's amazing how you slipped that bible bashing in there, One Who Has Been Changed. Impressive, really.

Nyx, the goddess of the night in some pagan religions, also very closely associated with cats.
